- Registration is available for 4 weeks in advance.
- The registration program fairly divides QUANTA hours among all the users.
- A session is defined as an individual booking slot (minimum of 2 hours).
- Day-time sessions (08:30 to 18:30) of 2 to 8 hours are allowed.
- Users can register for up to a total of 30 hours per week during the day-time.
- During night hours (18:30 – 8:30), weekends (Friday-Saturday), or holidays there is no limit on session length, or on the number of booked sessions.
- Sessions can be canceled up to 48 hours ahead of time.
- Coordinate environmental working mode, or other complex and time-consuming experiments in advance with the MIKA team.
- New users are limited to the day sessions only.
- Users who do not show to the session or do not press the START button will be charged for a full session.
- After 30 minutes from the beginning of the session if no one started working the session will be open for all users.
- Users who worked less than 50% of the one booked slot will be charged for a full session.
- Users who do not work on the Quanta for a period of 60 days are blocked.
- The insertion of magnetic samples is forbidden.
- Other concerns regarding samples, which can or can not be inserted into the microscope refer to Dr. Maria Koifman.
